    What are AI agents?

AI agents, or AI-powered chatbots, are designed to simulate human conversation. Unlike traditional chatbots that follow scripted responses, AI agents can understand and respond to a wide range of questions and requests in a natural and engaging way.

How to create an AI agent

To create an AI agent on the Cue platform, follow these simple steps:

    1. Log in to your Cue account here: https://www.cuedesk.com/sign-in

    2. Navigate to the AI Agents section - Locate the "AI Agents" icon on the left-hand side of the dashboard.

    1. Create a new agent - Click on the "Create Agent" button to start the process.

      1. Name your agent - Give your AI agent a descriptive name that reflects its purpose.

      2. Define the agent's personality and tone - Use the prompt box to provide specific instructions on how you want the agent to respond. For example, the default prompt is: "You are an advanced AI customer service representative. Always be polite, empathetic, and efficient in your responses. Keep your responses under 800 characters."

      3. Upload knowledge base documents - Provide your AI agent with relevant information by uploading documents such as FAQs, product descriptions, or company policies.

      4. Test your agent - Use the built-in testing preview to interact with your AI agent and evaluate its performance.

    2. Publish your agent - Once you're satisfied with your agent's functionality, publish it to start interacting with customers.

    Key features and considerations

    • Character limit: While there's a 1024 character limit for each response, aiming for around 800 characters ensures optimal readability.

    • Personality: Infusing your AI agent with a distinct personality can enhance the customer experience.

    • Knowledge base: The quality and quantity of information you provide will directly impact the agent's ability to answer questions accurately.

    • Continuous improvement: AI agents learn from interactions, so monitor their performance and make adjustments to your documents as needed.

    • No conversation memory: Currently, our AI agents do not have the ability to remember previous conversations. Each interaction is treated as a new one.

By following these steps and considering the key features, you can create powerful AI agents that deliver exceptional customer experiences. Learn more about uploading documents to AI agents and training them.
